Dedicated Medical & Vocational Resources

We offer dedicated physician, nurse, and vocational consultants who are trained to provide quality support to our customers throughout the claim management process. This can be done on a part-time or full-time basis, either at our customer’s location or remotely and on a temporary or semi-permanent basis, depending on the specific needs of the customer.

  • Provide expertise during disability claim adjudication and medical underwriting evaluations

Accommodation Services

Evaluating employee requests for accommodations is often a complex process. Brown & Brown Absence Services Group’s extensive team of medical and vocational specialists has the expertise and experience required to navigate a vast array of accommodation requests, including:

  • Family and Medical Leave (FMLA)
  • ADA/ADAAA accommodations
  • Other job accommodations
  • Vaccine exemptions

Physician and nurse expertise

Our network of disability-trained medical professionals, with experience in 35 specialties, review and provide written opinions regarding the necessity of requests for FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, vaccine exemptions, and/or other medically related worksite accommodations.

  • Review medical documentation and outline supported restrictions and limitations
  • Provide an opinion on whether the accommodation request is appropriate and medically necessary

Vocational specialists

Our experienced vocational counselors evaluate accommodation requests to define appropriate solutions with reasonable costs, develop a plan for implementation, and provide ongoing support to enable employees to safely perform their job duties.
