HR Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Manager, under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, manages the day-to-day operations of the HR function to include, but not limited to, new employee on-boarding, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement programs, talent acquisition, compliance and policy/procedure administration, and compensation. This position is responsible for coordinating employment actions such as those regarding newly hired, newly promoted, and terminating employees, as well as employees taking leave. The HR Manager ensures that legal requirements and Brown & Brown policy requirements are met with regard to record keeping for each employee. The position exercises independent judgment in advising and assisting managers in handling coaching, counseling, and disciplinary issues with their team members. This highly visible role will interface with all departments and partner specifically with the Payroll/Finance team in the development and execution of services. 

The Human Resources Manager is an exempt position with 15% travel requirements. Position will require travel to both locations weekly, but can sit in either location as their home office.
